So, my friends and I went out Friday night. That was when we saw The Witch. In the spirit of watching flicks, we did it MST3K [Mystery Science Theater 3000] fashion; riffing while watching the movie and how it unfolded. It was our last outing here in the grand ole place of Lansing, MI.
TL;DR – The Witch was still. . .a better love story than Twilight. . .and Fantastic Four.
Saturday night, after hours of moving shit from my basement, and banging washers Robot Chicken style, we went out to see Risen. We thought, maybe the theater will be empty. Maybe it’s going to bomb so hard because, you know. . .it’s a religious movie.
While we tried to destroy the movie, well, three of us anyways, it was actually a pretty decent movie, and was better than The Witch.
I know, I know some of you may say, “What the hell?! Why didn’t you go see Deadpool again?!” You see, we have this thing, where we will see horrible movies on purpose, solely for entertaining ourselves, to go on a MST3K experience. If you don’t know MST3K, then you are missing out, and I recommend you to surrender yourselves over to the Legion of Doom, upload your consciousness onto the chimichanga, and get drunk, because it’s an experience that will make you go, “Fuck. You.”
Anyways, updates are going to be delayed by a lot, and by a lot I mean I’m moving. I’ll Throw up some fun stuff here and there, but don’t expect full-blown nude pics, I MEAN, don’t expect to see gravitational waves around my bottle of [insert beverage here] and then the formation of [stomach nausea, gas, and you will want to change your pants].
I invite you to get out there, go see a movie, and if I hear that the last time you went to the movies, it was when you went to go see 50 Shades of Grey. . .I don’t know what I am going to do. . .probably lose some faith in humanity some more. . .or let Black Phillip guide my hand and lead me to the woods, where I can fly off in the sky.
